Calling all residents of Leysdown, Bay View, Shellness and Harty: we need you!
We have two opportunities for you to get involved within the parish:
Would you like to join the Parish Council in undertaking a litter pick in Leysdown in March? We’d like to focus on the areas around The Spinney, the shops, arcades and the Promenade. Exact date to be confirmed, but please email [email protected] or send a Facebook message if you are interested in this, or a litter pick on a future date.
The 80th anniversary of VE Day is on 8th May 2025. The Parish Council would like to explore how we can commemorate this event. We are setting up a ‘working party’ of Councillors and residents which will discuss and look at ideas. The first meeting will take place within the next two weeks. If you’d like to be involved in this, please email [email protected] or send a Facebook message. As this is a quick turnaround, we’re asking for emails/messages to be received before this Sunday evening (2nd March).
